40 years of Allen installations
In 2009 Allen Organs in the UK celebrated 40 years of service and some 4,000 organs installed. During those 4 decades we have consistently aimed to give the first-rate quality of service for which we are known. Prior to 1971, analogue technology was used to generate tone; in 1971 the first organs employing digital technology to produce tone were manufactured by Allen, some 20 years ahead of similar companies. The list below features one permanent installation from each year since 1969 (including a few samples of our work abroad!) and is representative of both the breadth of technology and the wide range of instruments we have provided and continue to provide to our delighted clients.
